Chocolate Dip Recipe

For all chocoholic fans out there, this is the perfect recipe for you.
To celebrate Chocolate Week, we have come up with a sweet dip that is super easy to make and wonderfully indulgent. Our Dip Society twist is adding a decent swig of one our favourite tipples - Tequila. Such a winning combination.
If you are up for sharing, then this is a great party dip and makes a fun pudding option too.
Chocolate and Tequila dip
Serves: 4-6
100g dark chocolate. We love Willies 72% Rio Caribe chocolate
1 tbsp golden syrup. We used Tate & Lyles.
50g natural yoghurt. Try Village dairy – one of our favourites
2 tbsp tequila. We’ve chosen El Jimador
Pinch of sea salt
1) Slowly melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water.
2) Mix the golden syrup through the melted chocolate and follow in the same way with the natural yoghurt.
3) Pour in the tequila (feel free to add a little more for an additional kick)
4) Use a pinch a sea salt to balance the sweetness
This delicious dip is best served warm with churros or salted Mexican style tortilla chips – try out Manomasa’s range or Chika's gluten free crisps.
